Post Need for Speed-Porsche Unleashed

I was at Staples today and spotted Need for Speed Porsche Unleashed marked down from $49.95 to $19.95! Naturally I bought it. Now I need advice on steering/foot controls.
They also had Flight Simulator 2000 for $20 with $20 rebate from Microsoft. (Got that too, who would pass on a deal like this?)

I also recently received NFS/PU as a gift from my daughter and now need the requisite hardware. It appears that the two top options are either the Logitech or Microsoft force feedback wheels. Any rec's for either?

I just got GT3 for PS2. I'm looking forward to achieve the license for RUF cars.
I have the MADZ steering/pedals unit.

I've got nfs pu and the ms force feedback wheel. I doesn't really compare to the real thing and driving at the limit is poor at best.

For example, you can't trail throttle oversteer at all. All the cars understeer like crazy and there is no way to modify the setup on the cars.

It is fun to play around with it though. If you guys would be interested in doing some internet play, let me know!

Dick, if you want a good, realistic racing game that has plenty of Porsches, grab a copy of Sports Car GT. It's definitely a better racing game than NFS, and people create plenty of news cars for it, such as the GT2, etc. It's by Electronic Arts...

Jeff, in all of the older 911's you can lift the throttle mid turn and the back end will step out. Try accelerating into a turn and then lifting as you're in the turn.

I have Logitech force feedback steering wheel & pedals, they are very good.

And yes, like Adrian said, if you lift the throttle mid turn, the back end will step out (even with 964 & 993 when you're driving hard).
