Default Dirty Car Syndrome!

Ok.... I spend all day last weekend detailing my car. I put it in the garage and it sits there all week long. I go out of town this past weekend and come home to a flthy 993 sitting in the garage. Not only did the wife drive it in the rain.... (top down I must add) SHE REFUSES TO WASH IT!

If I have to put the lid down.... She could at a minimum help restore the ride to its prior condition!

Is this just a thing with my wife or do others experience the same reoccuring problems with their spouses? This drives me insane!

Should I just wash it and start the process over?
~OR~
Should I wash it and disconnect the battery?

Wash it
Install PSS9s
Put in Recaro Pole Position Seats
Install a DAS bar
Install harnesses

Then see if she takes it out for a spin again! If she does then it sounds like a call for Supercups...

This is totally unacceptable.

She just lost all rights to those keys. Confiscate any and all extra sets and immediately find a hiding place for them.

Any rights of redemption are contingent on a complete wash AND wax !!!

I'd say your wife was either trying to **** you off or she's just totally selfish. But then again, some people don't care about cars at all. They view them as something they sit in that takes them from point A to point B and then back again. Either way, unacceptable IMO.

If she likes to drive the 993 that is a good thing. Maybe her not washing it is a good thing too, she could do more damage if she does not know how to properly wash a car. Imagine her dropping the wash cloth and then washing the hood!

I think you need to think outside the garage for some special favors she could help you with in return for making a mess out of your car.

You should convince her to clean and detail the car with you so she'll find oput how tedious the process really is. My brother used to use the cleanest/shiniest car in the garage (which i normally clean and detail) and return it filthy.

One saturday, i asked him to clean/detail the car with me so that he could learn how to 'properly' clean the cars and he found out how time consuming and tedious the work is.

He is now returns the car the way he finds them: clean and shiny. hehehe.

If you want peace, wash it and keep your mouth shut.
If you want a divorce, take the keys away.
When it comes to marriage, people get what they ask for.

A Porsche guru,
when asked the same thing, told me
"get rid of the wife."

Remove the mirror from the driver's sun visor, that should scupper most woman drivers.
(Female board members exculded, of course)

3) BEST POKER FACE ON, "HHMMMM, NOT SURE WHAT HAPPENED HONEY"?
