I have done the search but have not found the answer I am looking for. For all of you who have installed the RS door panel, where did you get them? Are they made for the 993 or the 964 and they just fit? Did you reinstall the factory speakers? Is it a pretty straight forward install? Please help with this, it is driving me crazy!!! <img border="0" alt="[grrrrrrr]" title="" src="graemlins/cussing.gif" />

I got mine from Vertex (Birthday Present from the wife) I dont think they list them as 993 RS panels but I am pretty sure the 964 will fit. Give them a call to be sure. JC in NY helped with installation tips, but it is so straight forward that it should take you about 1 hour total. Look for my post "Cab Roll Bar Is Here" and you can see a shot of the door panels (Last week)

The panels I got come with cutouts behind the vinal cover. Every hole for a 964/993 you could imagine. I have the factory tweeters and Boston A. door speakers, I just took the little metal tabs off the stock doors (that hold the speakers in), put them on the new hole I cut into the RS panels and I was good to go. When you take one door off, you will see how easy it is.
Good Luck!

Eric when you installed these did you have more room for your seats? I know that when someone puts aftermarket seats in there has to be some fabrication with the ***** on the sides. I thought this was due to the ***** rubbing on the door panels.....

Ok so maybe I'm being dense
, but all the ads I see for panels in excellence or pano, say they are for 74-94. Will these work on a 993? My guess is yes.
In looking at the PET CD, the one difference between the RS America door panels and the 993 RS panels, is that the RS america panels come with a hole for the speakers. Otherwise it looks like the same drawing.

All the holes are allready cut into the back of the panel just not in the vinyl/leather. When you get the panels you decide which holes to cut out depending on your application. Nobody advertises them for the 993 so the people that have bought them are getting the 964 door panels.

I just ordered all of the materials to have these door panels made up in Classic Gray Vinyl since they are only available in black. Door panel blanks from Appbiz.com, German Vinyl from Autosintl.com, correct 993 RS Platinium Door Handles from Gert (124 Euros inc. shipping ouch!!)All other hardware from PCNA. I will post some pictures when I'm finished.
