My OE wind deflector droops down a bit from the closed top... and leans a bit forward with the top open. I can find no real adjustment to tweak this. I'm aware of the functioning of the red plastic disk/spring and the detents to fold it to different positions, but feeling a bit silly that I can find no way to adjust it, say 10-degrees so it sits vertically while in use and lays against the top when closed. Any ideas?

Hey all,
I just put my top down with the wind delector in the zipped up position and thats how it stayed. How do you get the zipper to stay attached and zipped up with the top in the down position?
Do you have to unzip and rep when its down to be attached?
Please someone HELP

I don't understand the question: Once zipped in, my flap stays zipped, whether the top is up or down. When the top is up, the deflector fits flush against the headliner, and the flap is still zipped in, also flush. When I put the top down, it looks like your pics.

Easy to explain, when I put the top up with the headliner behind the WD the WD drops down about an inch and hits my head. If I unzip the WD and then rep when it is in the up position the WD is behind the headliner so it stays away from my head????

I now understand the question. The only time that happened to me was when the WD wasn't properly seated in the pivot (where the red button is). I lowered the top, seated that pivot so it made a click sound, and it sat flush against the top when up.

Why open your top....it's 20 degrees...lol
The zipper on my headliner is always zipped with my top opened or closed. The factory wind deflector follows the movement of the top, and with the top closed, the deflector is parallel and tight against the underside of the closed top.
When I install the factory top cover, I install the top cover flap so the flap on the top cover is 180 degrees under the top cover.
The zipper is always in the zipped closed position.
I uploaded the relevant sections of the owners manual.
I hope this information proves helpful.

OK I just tried again and the WD is still drooping about an inch down. I opened the top and unzipped the WD to take it out. Reinstalled it and pushed it back towards back of car, closed top and it drooped.
I'm out of ideas??

FOllower arm popping off
That’s a great question because I’m guessing at some point the super glue on mine will just wear out and I will have to do it myself. I don’t know the answer. I’d start with the thin stuff and see if it works.
Please post your result for posterity sake. I was surprised how little was written about such a wonky part.
Good luck!
