Has anyone had a custom roll bar/cage made up by S Car Go Racing? In an issue of 911 & Porsche World a few years ago there was an article on a blue 964 speedster with a strosek body kit. The car had a custom rollbar made by SCG and it looked really nice - hoops behind the headrests and covered in leather with contrasting stitching.

Glen I have the DAS roll bar and I had to bolt it down. 3 holes on each side. I have not seen any roll bars for our cabs that do not need to be bolted at least partially. For the back support it uses the holes of the seatbelt bolt points.
See pics through the link on the bottom of my signature.

Glen,
I have the DAS bar in my 98 Cab. It's a quality piece that can be installed by 1 person in about an hour and removed in 20 minutes. The only irreversible modifications to your car would be 6 holes drilled in the floorboard behind the seats. The bar meets both SCCA and PCA requirements.
Shoot me an e-mail with specific questions and I'll answer them and send you a few pictures.

Doesn't the cab DAS rollbar mount the same as the coupe DAS rollbar? I didn't do any drilling on my coupe to mount the DAS? It has the crossmember that mounts to the front seat seat belt retractor positions, then to the rear seat back holes for the main roll bar which then bolts down to the cross member?
No need for drilling?

Glen,
if you were closer you could borrow mine! But, it's for a coupe, there is a slight difference they say, not sure what? Anyone else with a Cab out there in Texas can give a guy a break and lend him their bar for the weekend?
Good Luck.

Did you check other outlets like Performance Products for it? Some larger places may stock it...

The DAS rollbar for Cabs bolts to the 2 rear seatbelt mounts and utilizes 2 flat mounting plates with backing plates under the car that sandwich the floorboard for the front mounts. It does require drilling Perhaps the Cab seatbelt mounts do not allow the same mounting config as the Coupe.

Danny, Thanks for the tips! I found one before I got your message. It is ordered and enroute. Kirk Racing out of Birmingham Al. Very helpful and extremely reasonable on price! They just happened to have it in stock, normally they build to order and it is 2-3 weeks. Thanks again for the help everyone!
