If she likes the color, car is not an issue. She will drive it daily, me on the weekends. If she REALLY doesn't want it, I will look into ordering a Formula SCCA spec car and have some fun on the track. It looks like I will lean that way but there's still hope for a C4S. We'll see soon... and BTW I still pick out the clothes.

Did the RS have more HP than a NA, or was it just lighter with a suspension upgrade??

Just curious

I called today to make a deal and this car was sold. Needless to say, I'm disappointed. I left a message 2 days ago and didn't get a call back. 97 C4S only 27k miles and mint. Worst of all it sold for $44k!!! I hope to find a deal as good but I think I missed my chance... Back to the search.... Ciao

I had the chance to ride an RS250 a few years back and the Aprilia's handling was amazing - very telegraphic; now my 2-stroke toy is an NSR250 which is also tons of fun.

David, I'd assume the TT is out of the price range I'm looking at. The RS50 handles great but not enough power. Will pump to 75cc to get some jump this spring but still great for when I go to the beach. I'm looking to buy a street RS250 if you know of any. Saw one on ebay a couple of weeks ago and trying to reach the owner. 2 strokes are great..wind the **** out of 'em and look out...
Is there an ad for the TT listed anywhere?
Thanks.

As you can see from the number of bidders (1) and bid amount ($50K), this car needs the right home.

If the 97 C4S that you are referencing is the one that was at Symbolic Motors that was actually turquiose blue not riveria blue.

You are correct it was Turqoise blue and the car was at Symbolic and did not make it to my driveway.

Domenico,

Not sure if you're still looking, but if you are, I came across a '97 Riviera Blue C4S w/ 8k miles for sale at Parcars (Parcars.com). No price was shown. Just wanted to let you know in case you were interested.

Good luck!

David, I e-mailed the owner of the TT and he's asking $82k. Thanks for the link. I guess he's going to own it for a while longer. I've decided to keep looking and if I run across a great deal this month I'll pull the trigger. If I don't get a car before spring I may just order the spec SCCA formula car and get my speed fix on the track where I'm sure I'll be safer. We'll see....
