Post Nakamichi MB75

I have a nakamichi MB75 installed.

It came with the car when I bought it bout a year ago. 95 993 and it was only a couple of months old. It seems very sensitive to vibration. I track mine at DE and also have a strut brace in it.

Now I am getting emechanical errors. Anyone ahve one..????

I have one about 3 years. Absolutely no problem, proved to be more vibration tolerant than my old Pioneer unit. Terrific piece of technologi!
As I have also strut brace, this should not be the issue

Actually it sounds like the install wasnt that ood. I have been impressed with the unit but it cuts out in one speaker on bumps. Now the emechanical error.

The MB 75 has some unique systems so I thought that was the reason...

I have had a lot of unflattering expieriences with Nakamichi CD players in general for years. In my professional expierience, the simplest, least moving parts, electronics generally last the longest without fail. I only sell my customers Alpine, and have never replaced one...

Aka, That's all well and good, but I've used Nakamichi for years. I had a CD45 in my 993 for 3 years and it never skipped. Now I believe the 75 is the in dash single din 6 cd changer, so it may be a little more sucpetable to bumps and stuff, but the speaker going out over bumps has nothing to do with the player, and everything to do with a bad install with a loose wire. I have no idea what a emechanical error is, but a good stereo shop that sells Nakamachi should be able to sort it out for you pretty easily.
