I stop when I get barely snug with my portable wrench and finish by hand. I always have at least 1/2 turn left before they are to 94 ft-lbs. I don't see a need for the stick (but I might use a stick if I was to start using my air impact gun).

I've taken a slightly different approach - I recently bought a gas compressor (picture below) and now take all of my air tools with me; it's very convenient for me. It's very handy having compressed air right at my car whenever I want it.
I use a torque stick and am very happy with it.

Does anyone know about the 18volt impact wrench that Harbor Freight sells ("Drill Master"). It is only $29.99. That is about $200 less than any of the others I was looking at. Price seems odd...

Nile,
Test it on a Honda and see what happens. I will buy it if it can merely lift one set of wheels off of the ground. It doesn't have to flip the car over for only $29.99

I thougth about trying it out, but I have the Chicago Electric one and it's worked fairly well.

Yep, I bought the one George gave that URL for above.
I also bought a $90 jack from Harbor Freight: http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/cta...emnumber=91039
They should be here soon, I'll give my opinions on both.

Home Depot has a Husky air compressor, with an extensive acessory kit included for $299. Tank is 32gal so it's big enough that the compressor is not constantly running and it has an impact gun, ratchet, hammer, 2 spray guns, a micro grinder and lots of acessories. Warranty through HD as well as a lifetime warranty from Husky. I'm sure you'd probably need to pick up another socket set to make it complete, but for that price and warranty it sounds like a pretty good deal. I'm gonna pick one up this afternoon and I'll let you guys know...It'll come in handy for my suspension install next week ![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)

29.99???!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That is dirt cheap...
I don't think though that it would brake free torqued lug nuts like my impact. But at this price....
For reference here is the Harbor freight unit that Matt, Robert H and I use:
