Hi everyone, I have been thinking for a while of improving/increasing the sound o/p of my 993/4, I already have the Motorsound airbox, and I can see that I have big oval tips as well, but I cannot tell whether I have the Porsche sport mufflers or the ordinary ones, and the option list does not mention it...It could have been added later. Can anyone tell me what the visible/optical differences are between 'ordinary' and 'sport' mufflers? (please don't mention the sound, 'cause I have spent hours listening and can't tell...

There is part # 'stamped' on the mufflers, you have to go under the car and look (someone else, tell what the numbers for stock & sport mufflers are)

If your car was built for ROW sale, it wouldn't have the factory sport mufflers. Unless, of course, someone retrofitted them later.
Here are the part numbers:

my rsr mufflers have been on for 2 months and: never listen to my radio because the sound is so good & with the windows open, cant hear radio anyway. k&n, filter, unichip, etc helps too.
