I believe Fabspeed does not sell the H&R. That's why Joe wants to know where he can get this system.

there is no H&R stage 4 suspension systems in North America. Neither regular stage 4 or stage 4 Supercup racing system. H&R doesnt know when they are getting a trunkload.........cant wait that long. Need a solid European source asap.

Check ebay. Gemballa has some H&R suspensions listed currently. Also, check with Gert at http://user.online.be/gcar/cpx.htm for the whole package. He is in Belgium and offers really good prices.
Good luck.

Hey Joe:

If you cannot find the H&R SuperCup setup, why don't you simply build up one yourself?

We do these all the time for race cars and dedicated DE cars using Bilstein Motorsport RSR struts/shocks that we have custom-valved to spec. Combine that with the correct dual spring (main-tender) package and some camber plates and you are good-to-go.

This package is certainly not Moton or JRZ type of performance, but its every bit as good, if not better, as the H&R SuperCup setup!

Exclamation

I am all for Bilstein RSR style 993s revalved and if you can assist me that would be great. I have had Bilstein RSR on once before and ran 450lb front and 650 rear linear springs BUT never had the shocks tuned properly(didnt now better) sold off and went with JRZ doubles.......sold off JRZ after JRZ founders broke up partnership and have triple adj PROTRACs.......want something simpler at this point in my life and would like double springs with 550lb front and 700 rear. Steve any help is appreciated. I have Bilstein adjustable front shock inserts on my shelf .....if they are of any use or trades. I have seen several H&R stage 4 Supercup setups and they are very nice and super quality BUT as usual non are in the country and I have to put the car on jackstands and ship off the Protracs in the next 7 days and I have several races coming up within the next 3 weeks...dont want to slap just anything on. TIA

Joe,
Just curious why you don't go with double adjustable Motons. I have heard that triple adj are much harder to tune and aren't necessary for us amateurs. Is there that much difference in cost between the RSR set-up and the Motons ? Or do you want something more streetable?

What races are you going to? I will be at Gingerman the first weekend in August and CMP in November.
Greg

Joe:

Just my opinion here;

Given that there will be a 4-5 week lead time getting custom-valved Bilstein's at this time of the year and that you have some mighty fancy dampers already,
I would suggest either having those converted to double-adjustable for much easier setup or simply spending a weekend at your favorite local track and hire a suspension guru for 2 days to assist you getting them optimized.

This seems to be much more cost-effective than spending more money for another set of dampers on your 993. Springs are cheap and you could certainly use 550-700's with the appropriate tender springs and adjust your bump and rebound setting to the new spring package.

If I could get away this time of year, I would offer my services to help you with this,...
