I happen to like most of the Meguiars line. I do not use their wax as I have a daily driver and prefer Mothers and/or Blitz. But I do use the Glaze and swirl remover (#7 and #9). I found those to be great!! I am not as big a fan of the other waxes out there as they are not durable enough. After the swirl remover and glaze, a coat of wax (Mothers Gold for now) and it will look like you can swim in the paint...

For durability, Zaino or Klasse. For shine, I use P21S or Zymol Concours.

I second Matt's recommendation. I start with the Klasse All in One followed by a couple of coats of P21s. The P21s goes on so quickly and comes off so easily that the final stage takes all of 15 minutes. I got this combination after spending a significant amount of time on autopia.com.
Guru reports - http://www.gurureports.org/cgi-bin/store/ has a comprehensive test of all the waxes out there. A a good buy for $9.95. I can save you the money by providing the final results: Zaino, Klasse and p21s were significantly better than any of the other waxes in both the natural category (p21s) and artificial (Zaino and Klasse). You can't go wrong with any of these products.

I like Mothers as well. In fact to show how insane I truely am I use mothers Liquid as a Between wax. My process involves quarterly striping all wax with S100 total Cycle cleaner (the same product as P21S total auto cleaner, works great on wheels and is safe on paint I use the S100 because I can buy it locally at the Harley Dealer) Hitting scratches with 3M Perfect It II polish and then 3M imperial hand glaze for all the paint, if needed. Follow with Blitz. Then every few weeks I give it a wash then a between wax with Mothers Liquid Carnuba (non cleaner wax again) The mothers looks great but does not last long which is why I only use it with a good base of Blitz

btw Jon,
Have you ever tried either variant (p21s/s100) of the wax, not just the cleaner? Great stuff!! Doesn't last as long as Zaino on the car, but provides an amazing amount of "pop" . Over top of the Klasse AIO (which gives the paint real depth) it is really amazing.

In addition, I have never a product which went on or buffed out as easily as the p21s wax.

Occasionally I finish off the car with Sonax (another German product) acrylic spray - really gives the paint a glass-like appearance.

The other advantage of the Klasse product is that it truly is all in one. I use it on the WHOLE car, including vinyl, rubber and windows. I rarely use my wipers on the highway. This stuff puts rainX to shame.

Agree with all the praises of P21S. The "pop" is a good way to describe it. My car gets no special treatment and hasn't ever even been polished or clayed. Yet with the P21s (on my G.Red), it ALWAYS draws attention and comments on its glassy shine. Again, keep in mind that I have the requisite little surface imperfections that come with driving the car daily and being too busy to polish it, yet still it looks amazing; I credit the wax for this. Moreover, the ease in which it goes on and comes off really has to be experienced to be believed. And because it is so easy, smooth, and non-abrasive, I find myself using the stuff more often that I have had on other products since the time committment is marginal by comparison (have you gotten the idea that I'm too busy to keep cleaning it ). If it sounds like I'm sold on the stuff, I am. After having used so many different products over the years, I'm really impressed by this stuff. Admittedly I haven't tried any of the synthetic waxes, but don't feel the need to as the P21s really does it for me. Pitch over

Will try Zaino.. on the basis of votes.

I use Meguiars on the 3 other cars though and other than the "cutter" element in their Clear Coat WAX, which is inappropriate to my non clearcoat Porker paint, I like their products.

Thank you for all the help
