new member here so apologies if there were specific thread rules I have broken. I'm an 18-year-old who, in recent years, have grown an absolute obsession with Porsches specifically the 993. However, I am still struggling to understand the different details of each 993 model.
I have been told it is a C2 with an RS 'style' wing but that's practically all I know. I have been researching for ages now but still can't find any that have the same front bumper or lights as the one my father has.
Appreciate any help and info given and have a great day everyone.
Hi Fluffy,
A beautiful example is pictured with what appears to be very tasteful cosmetic upgrades.
The front bumper and rear wing appear to me to be an aftermarket addition to the car. It happens to be a really nice-looking one.
If it was original to the car it would be listed on the option sticker on the underside of the frunk hood or the duplicate sticker in the owner's manual.
If it was dealer added it would probably be penciled in on the original window sticker if you still have it.
Also, the wheels have what looks like a pinstripe around the diameter of the wheel, and side graphic stencils which also appear to me as unique.
One of the desirable features of a 993 is the vast array of aftermarket styling and performance modifications that are available even after being out of production for over two decades.
Clearly a well-loved car, All good!
Andy
Hi all,

Needs a suspension drop! Truck ride height currently… Strosek front bumper and after market 3.8L RS rear wing. A lot going on there. Thanks for sharing.
Post a picture of the white sticker, on the inside of the front hood…it’s located near the latch at the front. That will have the vin, color codes inside and out, as well as factory options
