The guy driving it (in the 1st pic) doesn't look excited at all.... in fact he looks bored

Any photoshop experts want to give 'em a lowering job? Those cars are begging to be lowered; that gap is fugly.

Two interesting facts about S model

1. Active damping -- no more PSS9's and other 3.-rd manufacturer stuff, but only hi $$$ original parts!

2. 19" wheels as standard -- cool!

I like it too.

I would have liked to see the red reflector strip along the back like on the current C4S (and our 993's)

Love the front ... not too sure about the back, though ... the rear decklid looks kind of funky. Definitely not a fan of the rims.

Someone on the 996 board says the front looks too much like a Beetle ;-) ... you just can't please everybody!

The front bumper reminds me of a vette!
At least they went back to the good looking lights. Overall not bad.... nothing though that will make me trade my 993's over it.

Hmm not too bad, but IMHO still no comparison to the 993. Maybe I'll like it better in person...

Read today in Autoweek that the Boxster is going to get the exact same nose on the new 987 due next year. Didn't they learn that lesson a couple of years ago?

The car we see here is nice, but won't take me away from my 993. ...At least until I can afford a GT3.
