For me, it was the value proposition. I could what I wanted for far less with the Koni/Eibach set up.

Simply the fact that I had heard many positive responses both here and from friends regarding the Koni/M033 set-up AND it was in stock as a set from Gert that should be on my door step within a week.

My car is headed to the shop for the suspension work tomorrow.




Got the parts very quickly from Carnewal. The outer box was fine, but the inner shock boxes took a beating. One was actually split in half!

I had the same experience with my set of Koni struts from another vendor. The cardboard is cheap and the struts seem to rub in shipping and just eat the boxes up.

Not yet Nam. I’m on vacation this week, so I told him to take his time. I’m getting some other minor maintenance done too.

Suspension is done and I am very happy with it! Much better ride than the old original suspension. A little firmer and lower, but still perfect for a weekend fun car. Before and after pics…

Remind me: which Eibach SKU/part # are the springs?
