+1 on the Koni FSDs and the M033 springs. Great ride if you are looking for something that is a bit more comfortable and lower than standard US height.

I should have my C4 96 back with new FSD shocks today. I will post how they ride. Replacing way too many mile Bilsteins.

I just ordered the M033 springs and Konis from Pelican. Can't wait to get them on car. My suspension is stock and chassis has 130,000 miles so its not ideal. To OP. Your new wheels look fantastic!

Also about to pull the trigger on Koni+M033. What else do people typically do ICW this suspension refresh- bushings? Control arms? Do I really need to do that? OEM shocks are leaking, so need the refresh, but I’ll never track the car.

Pending mileage, I would do your front control arm bushings.

I believe FD motor sports will send you a like new control arms with the bushings in place. They will refund your core charge when you send the old ones in.

Minimal cost and your going to need an alignment anyway.

I have FSD/MO33 of my car - it's very good for my type of driving (non performance type driving)

For those of you not familiar with Konis, this may be important to know. Whether you purchased the FSD, Special Active or Sport dampers, the front ones are threaded for “some” height adjustability. The rears are NOT height adjustable. This means whatever lowering springs you install is the height you’ll get. You fine tune the height at the front depending on where the rear sits. With that said, while many owners are happy with the ride height achieved with M030/M033 springs, I’ve seen countless owners wishing their 993 would sit lower. I think it’s important to know this before diving in, and spending $$$ on your suspension upgrade. Do a Google search and you’ll see plenty of images of this set up.

FYI I’m told the Koni Sport Kit (# 1145-1046) is going to be discontinued — which could be both motivation to buy or disincentive, depending on your perspective.

Thanks everyone! It looks like the FSD’s have been replaced by the special active shocks. I didn’t expect that a tippy would need specific parts?

When I was searching, I believe that Gert told me he had that set up in his 993.

He mentioned that it was a good set-up for someone like me wanting a decent ride while lowering the car a little.

Would you mind sharing total cost and details of what you ordered? Whenever I go to think about ordering a set up, I am never quite sure if I've got everything or what other goodies I might add to the mix.

Thanks so much.

Cost from Gert is $1325 Euro delivered to Canada or the US. I ordered last night and they shipped this morning

My indy is charging $1350 Cdn to install and do a 4 wheel alignment. That is about $1,000 US.

Thanks again to everyone who offered advice. I think that this is the right set-up for me.

May I ask, what was your reasoning for not considering the classic greens?
