Thank you for the welcome Melissa, I hope to be able to contribute to this forum and I have already picked up a lot of information in picking a perfect car for myself.

Welcome, Rob. Good to have you. Stay away from that Greg Fishman fellow and you'll be OK (don't fall for the "guru" title; he likes to reply to his own posts to inflate his stats).

Allen,
They arrived today, and I hope to have them installed on Saturday with the Pirelli P-Zero C's (245 front, 285 rear). I'll try to post pics soon, to show the race satin anodized finish.

Rick,
I figured that you had already witnessed his shenanigans first hand at Putnam.

Anir,
Can you also update us on the Pirelli Corsa's? I'm curious to hear how they wear and the type of grip they provide. The tread pattern looks similar to the Pirelli Dragons that come as standard equipment on some Ducs. I think maybe the new 998 has them. The tread looks very aggresive.
Also, how is the SMG II treating you? Is it amazingly quick, and could come close to shifting like Schumi??
Thanks.
Regards,
Sam

Hi Sam,
Actually, my Pirelli Corsas are brand new, but of the previous design. I plan to take them to the track in early July, although I might scoot around on the road with them a bit earlier just to check them out. They are being mounted on the FM-10s at this very moment!
I do have the newer Dragon Evos on my Duc, and they are incredible for street driving. Totally confidence inspiring.
The SMG-II is still great at 6,000 miles. Much faster, even in S5 mode (S6 is the most aggressive), than a good driver. It can be a bit jerky at low speeds around town (might be my poor technique), but it comes into its own at high speeds and under hard accleration. I'd order it again.

Hey now! I only got black flagged once, something about running in the wrong run group...
My boss's brother in law was very impressed with how many cars I passed... <img src="graemlins/c.gif" border="0" alt="[ouch]" /> in the C group.
Anir,
Saw your wheels today, they look nice but I didn't think you could fit 15's on your car... I also think I have your torque wrench
if you need it I will be right over.
