Default WTB 96-98 C4SC2S ocean blue, speed yellow

Still searching - 6 speed only. Color preferences are yellow, blue, red. Black interior only, no supple. Sport seats a huge plus but not a deal killer. Non aero package. Hoping to find an original paint car, repainted bumper covers are ok. More options the better.

Ready to buy now, please pm with possibilities.

Why no supple leather if you don’t mind?

I never really liked supple leather (because I prefered a smoother leather without “wrinkles”) but once I saw it in my soon-to-be 993, it did not look as bad as I thought in real. And it is really nice to the touch.

I feel similar about supple - the wrinkles. Every once in a while I see a supple car that has been carefully taken care of and those still look good, but majority of the others have too many wrinkles, plus I really like the non supple sport seats.

I understand your point of view, thanks.

I wanted to share my experience with you just in case that you find the perfect car i.e. very good condition, low mileage and a good deal with all your specs but with supple leather, don’t discard this car necessarily. And if the car does have supple leather, you can always swap them for Sport hardback seats (5kUSD by Waldemar) :-)

Thanks, that is good advice. I have seen Waldemar’s seats and they are very nice.

Good luck getting Waldemar seats for $ 5K. More like $ 8K now.

Consider selling my very special C2S, 1998, manual, ocean blue, C02 (USA/CAN)
Car is in Germany, Stuttgart currently but we plan to bring the car to CA, Bay Area and list it on BaT/PCAR.
A well known rennlister and Porsche race driver may help with the reimport and can also provide support maintenance in his workshop.
Car has about 72000 miles in total and 6000 since full refresh and comprehensive modification.
Important original parts available. Car has 2 alternative setups, comfort (plaid) and sport (Recaro PP leather, rear seat delete).

Hey guys,

she could go very fast thru the twistys and on the Nordschleife,
but she can’t swim across the Atlantic Ocean.
