One was in bad shape and the other was okay. Nothing significant. But like I said, the vibration at idle is noticeable.

That's a good point. I might have gotten used to a little extra vibration at idle due to the poor shape of the original motor mounts.
Anyway the combination of fresh motor mounts and the fister 2 is great.

I ordered my RS mounts from sunset and the engine carrier from Rennline I have heard the RS mounts can crack up stock engine carrier
I did not want to pickup up my engine on the road! Then I put in a Golden Rod and then you have a bolt action shift

Installed my OEM RS mounts yesterday. Combined with recent Golden Rod and new shift tube bushings, shifting is much more precise and very happy with the results. No significant increase in NVH but noise is difficult to tell since it is a convertible. The two hardest parts of the job were removing the old right mount space was very tight due to the a/c compressor and working around the a/c hoses on the left but overall not too difficult. Took about 2 hours. Very glad I had a long breaker bar as the mount bolt was very tight on both sides

It had to be welded to the new bracket reinforcement. As such, it was bare metal. Given where its being used and what its exposed to, I preferred to have it powder coated instead of rattle can flat black. I think the durability of the powder coating will serve best. No one will see it, so aesthetics were not part of the consideration.
