Yup, prices have definitely sky rocketed.
Been on the fence selling my 993 c2. But my 964 is a handful alone. Wish me luck.

Damn, on the 130k mile example sales price (same year, mileage as mine). I thought that big prices were limited to the lower mileage examples. I wonder if it sold to a dealer, how much are they then going to ask for it when they list it? Unless they bought for a specific customer.

Maybe he's buying for personal use, who knows. But, the fact that a sophisticated party (someone who's sold approximately 500 cars on BaT) paid that much, albeit for a very nice example, speaks volumes.

that blue one yesterday was really nice and the money was good but i wouldn't sell my 993 for any price. if i were a billionaire i'd still have my 993. (now i might do some more work on it but it would be this car)

how lucky are we all for owning one of these?

Definitely going to increase my insurance valuation when I take my car out of hibernation. Driver-quality NB cars are now in the $70-90k range.

This is another one that's comparable to my car. Well maintained driver, 100k miles, documented accident repair = $75k.

So glad I bought mine when I did. No way I could afford to buy one now.

I been thinking the NB cars would come up 10 to 20 grand eventually. There are only so many WB and the NB coupe guys just seem to hang on and enjoy. This leaves a supply issue. WB are way to expensive to drive almost. The one I’m interested in seeing what happens is the NB 4. They didn’t make too many of them.
I see even Tips are inching up. Good to see, nothing wrong with them and plenty of nice lower mileage ones.

What would you (RL Brain Trust) ask for 1995 Polar over Chestnut Brown, 34k miles, rear seat delete, all service up to date, records back to 1996, stock except for recently updated suspension (MSC 2-way). Everything works except CD doesn’t play and OEM radio is terrible.

Clean car fax. No accidents. Looks great. A few paint blemishes consistent with age but overall very nice. Not concours. Very very nice low mile example.

What would be a good walk-away price in a private sale?

I’ll add a few clarifying comments:
- it’s not currently for sale and won’t be as it’s put away for winter
- I have two serious buyers to whom I’ve promised first and second chance at the car.
No price is set but it’s likely both buyers will be willing to pay market price.
The two buyers are also friends.

Im trying to get the most for it that I can and still be within reason. I’d rather avoid an auction although that could be a possibility if buyers 1 and 2 pass on it. But that’s unlikely. Both have seen it and have been asking about it since right after I bought it.

Prices seem all over the place. The ‘95 cab from Barrett Jackson for $160 is nuts.

I am the seller for the blue 130k mile 993 that sold on BaT Monday. While the buyer was a "dealer" it is actually being purchased by an individual that plans to use it as a driver. Transaction has been completed. And it is a very, very nice car. And I am pleased with the selling price and the buyer.

If you think 993NB prices are moving, Have you seen the price of an NSX or R34 GTR recently?
