LeeR - That looks like more than just a top end rebuild. Why was it needed and what all was done ? Nice pics btw, thanks...
Agro, started as a CEL that wouldn't stay off. Two cylinders failed leakdown test. Determined to be carbon buildup, so replaced exhaust valves and guides, machined heads and all that goes with it (at least they looked pretty after it was done). Some oil leaking where engine halves came together, so pulled whole thing apart and replaced all gaskets/seals etc. Also replaced a camshaft while there and some misc stuff. In hindsight, dealer was a bad choice to do this, although I think in the end they did a good job. The cost and time to do it was just excessive.

I also got some paperweights out of it (see photo below and ask ZCAT3) but the camshaft is a little heavy to put on my desk.
