Default What is this color code (993 Carrera 4)?

I'm interested in this car. Can you tell me what color code it is from the pictures?

Couldn't contact the seller last week and there is no registration plate visible.

Zenith blue, midnight blue or iris blue?

I believe it's iris blue as it's maybe too dark to be zenith and too light to be midnight. But in this kind of lighting it's hard to say.

Much appreciated.

Yes I know. I haven't had a chance to see the car yet. Haven't had a chance to contact the seller.

I will contact him next week.

I was thinking if someone could spot the color from the pictures. But I guess it's hard as it's photographed in artificial lighting.

Sure looks like Iris, but lighting can be deceiving (not my car).

Thanks. Yes Iris blue has that purple tone in certain lighting. I guess zenith and midnight don't.

Its Iris. Zenith is a lighter hue. Midnight is much darker.

Your first 2 pics look like Iris but the 3rd looks more Zenith-like. Not sure how Iris reacts to light but Zenith changes dramatically as you can see below. (Both parts are Zenith).

Has the car been re-painted? It appears there are no factory stickers on the rear frame of the engine compartment.

Maybe it's not a Porsche color?

But it doesn't look like a US car. Obviously it might be. But if it's not, the stickers are very different on ROW cars.

Too many assumptions going on here
