Congrats, looks like a great car!
When my clutch was done just a few thousand miles ago (~78K) we also did the rear main seal and the lower valve cover gaskets were done again just for good measure. Did new motor mounts a few other things too. The feel of the new clutch is fantastic.

Congratulations on a great looking 993! If you still have the original Monroe's, swap them for some coil overs, I prefer Bilstiens, and some H&R lowering springs. You can wait in the rest put the new lowered suspension turns your beauty into the handling beast you want.

Great car. Glad you got the opportunity to get it sorted.I just ordered KW coil overs FOR MY 1995 C2 as ROW springs to lower ride height don’t seem available in the USA. I have the Porsche classics PCCM and really like though the screen is quite small. It was a pretty easy diy install as long as your wiring harness hasn’t been messed with. While the stereo audio isn’t very good, check speakers, as both of mine were shot. Again an easy diy repair. Other fun minor upgrades include a magnetic phone holder that connects around the clock face and cup holders to replace the center console cassette holder. Both bought from pelican, I think. min any case, enjoy the drive! I love mine!
Hi All,
Been enjoying the forum the past couple of months, having purchased my first 993 and, in fact, my first p-car (also an Audi fan as my username suggest). My car is a 96 black/black C4, single prior owner and very original. I debated about going with a black car (black is a hobby you know) but I have to say the paint presents as almost new so I am happy with the choice. Only surprise ($$) so far was that it needed a clutch and DMF, but on the upside the engine out service allowed my mechanic to give it a complete look over, easily change plugs, etc. Going to install a PCCM as the original head unit was replaced. I am also contemplating a refresh of the suspension components, possibly bring it to RoW M030 spec per the parts package from Elephant racing (welcome any first hand experiences with that change). I am not a purist per se but trying to limit modifications to options that would have been available on a 993 (even if not necessarily on a 96). Looking forward to learning and sharing as this journey evolves!

Got a shot of the front suspension. Does this look like original dampers and springs to everyone? The dampers are green under the grime and springs have green and orange marks. According to a table of OEM suspension parts I have seen green and orange on front springs indicates M030 package but my car was not spec'd with that and seems more likely these are the stock springs based on the info I have about the car (single previous owner in CT, not evidence of upgrades elsewhere in the car). From what I'ver read, Blistein B6 dampers are the best value for a 'stock' replacement. Adam

993 sport exhaust
Just added a 95 4S to my garage and would like to add a little to the pop to the exhaust! Not looking to track the car a lot so I want something that’s comfortable on the street. Added a fab speed Maxflo hi-performance muffler to my 97-C2Cab and its good but slightly quieter than I would like. Any suggestions? TMc

4S was produced 96-98? So how is it a 95?
