Default Interior Code LT

So I am looking at buying a 1996 C2 Cab with the interior code listed at LT, everything I can find indicates it should be partial black leather, but this interior has Dark Tan seats with black carpet? Does that make sense? I'll post a pic below

Are you 100% sure the option code sticker is authentic and not a replica? Post a pic. LT is black partial leather/black top.

I just found this on another thread entitled

"Accurate 993 Paint and Interior codes list" It's from 2011

"It's been discussed a number of times and well established that interior is _not_ described by a 2-letter code. There is a 3-letter/digit code for interior that is not printed on the underhood sticker. Do a search on this on Rennlist."

So, Maybe the 2 digit code is not determinative of the seats always?, This car has black carpet and black dash.

LT = all black interior with partial leather.

The car has had it's interior recovered. Those seats are not original.

Changing interior colors especially seats is not all that uncommon. Going from cashmere to black (or grey to black) is more common than black to cashmere.

I would say the seats were swapped as the photos show seats with "supple leather" option code 982 for the front seats and 939 for the rear seats which doesn't show on the sticker. You would also have option code Z69 for deviated carpet as Cashmere had Cashmere carpet as standard, so to get deviated black it would have the Z69 code. The sticker appears authentic.

So does that mean the door panels and seatbelts as well as the seats were swapped?

I would say so, also just noticed those seats have Porsche crests in the headrest, option code Z53. Honestly I think the combo looks great, so unless this is some 4-digit mileage, true condition 1 car, what difference does it make.

I'm always a little worried about resale to some extent, I do like the way it looks, but concerned about the originality and what the next prospective buyer might think is a big deal, It is a fairly low mileage car (26,000) and car is too far away for me to look at personally, it's on Long Island.

Got the actual build sheet from Porsche....Can anyone make out the codes KL or ATG or THE ? The carpet code is for the black carpet that is in the car, but can't find the other codes anywhere. It seems unlikely that someone
swapped out the seats, door panels, the piece between the rear seats and the other rear pieces next to the doors

I can’t read a thing on that picture. Can you reattach with actual image size?
