Default Fire extinguisher mount at rear seat center bracket?

Let's see and hear from anyone who's deleted their rear seat and mounted an extinguisher on the center seat mount bracket.

It may well be a viable location to mount an extinguisher but not readily accessible in an emergency. That's why most are mounted under the front driver's or passenger's seat.

Unless you want the racer look just go with an Element 50 fire extinguisher. Fits in your door pocket.

I removed my Rennline kit completely and have an Element 50 in the 993 and all cars I own.

Meh... sorta boring..... the actual seat / roll bar mounted fire extinguisher adds presence and nostalgia.

Found this in an old thread. Would like to know how it's mounted or something similar.

Yeah, like I said - if you want the racer look, weight and expense definitely go that way. I thought that putting out a fire was the main concern.

Don’t disagree... it comes down to a matter of preference

Look like a Brey Krause by the release lever although the mounts look different.

I have the BK mount that fits on the front seat rails.
