well, being a female enthusiast! I find most of that very offensive!
..and guess what, I met my fair share of guys who:
- explode for no apparent reason
- found in various grades...
- turns green...
AND for the record:
I earned my OWN money to pay for all my cars (no help/aid from ANY man)
...I don't wear makeup and I refuse to subscribe to any car magazine with female bikini clad in compromisinig positions...
Also, I wear no rings (except toe rings) and already told my boyfriend NOT to buy me a ring EVER because I won't wear it (gets in the way of driving at car events) and I'd rather he buy me something car related because it will be more fun for me!
I spend more money on mods than clothing.. I'm not big on fashion but I am big on car mods and cars. I do still get a little put off when people approach us at car events and immediately talk to HIM and ignore me when I am the owner and driver of the nice red 993 or Boxster S!!!
BTW: Back in High School when the girly girls were ooooing and ahhing the hot guys, I was oooing and ahhing the nice cars instead.. ...and I never really hung out with the girly girls anyway...
Oh, and when I tried to buy my 1st porsche with cash, I really got fuming mad at the comments I received from the 3 dealers who didn't sell me a porsche:
a) why don't you come back with your daddy
b) why don't you come back with your husband
..and this one really got me burned up the most:
c) you must be lost, the chevy sales people are across the street
Needless to say, I fight the stereotypes every day and seeing this type of thing posted here on a board that I thought is about sharing the love of 993s instead of bashing women is sort of disheartening!

I apologize ceboyd... I did not intend this to be stereo-typing at all, this is just a joke that should not be taken too seriously.
Trust me, I have received similar jokes about men too, and I just take them as jokes and laugh
And actually the person who sent me these pictures was my sister-in-law. It's only a joke in our case.
But since you're (ceboyd) taking this too seriously:
Viken/John D. if you think it's in-appropriate, I have no problem or whatsoever if you want to remove this post
At any rate, have a nice weekend and my apology to you again ceboyd.

Well, for once in my life I have a wonder boyfriend who shares my love of cars! We understand each other's obsession of the car lifestyle... ..we even have our whole summer planned around track DEs, Autocross and Cowboy shoots
..he had a Dodge Viper and I turned him onto Porsche, now we are a Porsche family so-to-speak! (and he even now owns his own 95 993)
