Hey Kdurg, Yes I did, it was painless. All it asked is log in name, password and email addy. Then confirm the registration thru your email and you're done.

By the way, I'll attach a copy of the sked of events in the area. Maybe I'll catch you in one of them.. I always watch the Auto X at Pungo Airfield, ACU-4 Little Creek Base and Fentress Airfield. There's at least 3 993 that go there:

Date............Event........Location...........Sponsor
21MAR........AUTO X....FENTRESS...........TSCC
27/28MAR..EVOLUTION DRIVING..PUNGO...CORVETTE CLUB
31Mar........MEETING RICHMOND VA/EURO CLASSICS PORSCHE..FSR PCA
18Apr........AUTO X.....ACU-4 LITTLE CREEK...TSCC
19Apr.......AUTO X.....FENTRESS..........TSCC
21Apr.......FSR MEETING...VA, BEACH SAM GASSEL'S...FSR PCA
14~16MAY...DE........VIR......................FSR PCA

Is it just me, or does it seem like the Ferrari (or whatever is behind the 993 Turbo) has to wait on the 993 in the turns, during braking and initial acceleration? Although the 993 definitely crushes him on the straightaway.. kewl.

Have you seen the Japanese video of the 993GT2 v. F40? GT2 leaves the F40 like it's tied to a tree and left its parking brake on.

However when that F40 caught some steam it left the GT2 in its wake. VERY impressive.

I would guess the 355 is quicker in the twisties due to lighter weight...? Or...?

Are you thinking of the video with a 355/F40/F50 vs Diablo vs Skyline vs GT2/GT3/993TT ?

In that case, the GT2 takes off in the start since it has almost pole position. The F40 and F50 starts all the way at the back!

What I think is really impressive is that the GT3 does so well with keeping up, even though it doesn't have the HP to match.

The Diablo however is a sad sad thing...
