Those are nice. Does everything fit in the light pods like the Carneval system?

not sure about the carneval system but this kit was pretty easy. Take off stock projectors and install new ones and hook up the HID system. Pretty simple

https://www.bergvillfx.com/products/...-hid-kit-4300k

High-Intensity Discharge (xenon) low beam light kit, specially designed for the Porsche 993 with easy installation inside the headlight enclosure. Installation time is 15-20 minutes without the need for special tools.
  • 55W H1 HID/xenon low beam, color: 4300K
  • No wire cutting, T-Light use the original halogen bulb connectors.
  • Three times the light output of halogen bulbs, high quality (Philips OEM) electronics and bulbs, long life
  • Richly illustrated installation manual in English
  • Ba9s LED bulbs for front park/marker light with matching color
  • Very quick installation inside the headlight housing (bolt-on)
  • Plug-and-Play connection with easy revert to halogen if needed
  • 2 years warranty

4300K light color resembles the color of the original Porsche Litronic HID lights. 6000K has a bit more blue tint to the light. Light intensity is the same in both colors.
Current consumption and heat emission are lower than normal halogen lamps.

We have tried a lot of LED kits in the 993 low beam projector lamp, and none will come near to using HID lamps, which has an omnidirectional light output. LED's work OK in open reflector designs, but not in this kind of lamp construction, they produce the wrong light output pattern and does not produce the light intensity as HID bulbs.

I have a thumbwheel on the dash that allows me to move my beam up and down and was wondering if these lights will fit in the the headlight housing which has this extra hardware?

One thing I would say about the TRS kit is that it replaces the inside projector, which I believe is the main driver for a clean and crisp light output. It's a little more work and expensive but to me, I personally think it's worth it.

I had a stock HID set up on my 2013 raptor and installed TRS projector kit where it was essentially the same upgrades (new projector, new bulbs ,etc) and the output was much clearer and cleaner than the stock for projector.

Check out this thread where I am borrowing his pictures.

OEM Porsche 993 Halogen Projector with H1 Halogen bulb:

HID bulb in stock OEM 993 projector (notice how hazy the glass is)

TRS upgraded projector on same HID bulb (Notice how clear the glass is)

Tore's HID lights that are linked above and The Retrofit Source lenses.

I went with the full kit from TRS and wish I had waited for Tore to get back up. The performance is great, but the ballast has to be mounted inside the frunk, which was a bit of a pain and makes taking the housing out a pain (going to try and remedy this over the winter). Tore's light kit fits inside the housing so the ease of removal and installation is retained.

For some absurd high beam fun, I recommend the splitter from TRS and a set of LED lights in the reflector high beam, this allows the projector high beam and reflector at the same time...pretty sure I can flag down the international space station with them!
