Hi Bryan
Not sure if only 43 left hand drive and 7 right hand drive units are being road cars or not, But I belive more
Here are the links from porsche ,just click on the 911 GT2 and the 911 GT2 EVO. It show the total units of both 993 GT2 and EVO were built
you also got a PM !

JWKC, Hey Joseph! Didn't even realize that you've been posting here until I saw your initials. I think I replied to a couple of your postings before. Hope you don't mind me posting pics of your car and a few from your album. I just love your group's collection of exotics. I think you guys do more fun drives there than the p-car guys here where I live Wish we have those constant Sunday drives
Happy motoring ~Mike

Bryan,
Hope this helps:

Does your GT2 have OBDII receptacle on the left side(Right side for you since you have a right hand drive/beside your accelerator pedal) of the center console? Do the windows and windshield have small "DOT" stamps on them?
Mike

Hi Mike, thanks for the info. My car is OBDII but definitely no DOT stamps on the glass. This car has the special "lightweight" glass that is thinner than normal. Apparently all 993 GT2 cars have this together with the aluminum doors and bonnet (except for the 1998 model, 21 units I think). Also absolutely no sound insulation. It is a true aural experience!! Suspension is very stiff, almost not very happy with rough road surfaces.

Bryan

Bryan,
Thats good that you have the OBDII receptacle, too bad that no DOT stamps on the windows. The reason I say that is just in my oppinion, if I have a car as nice as your's, I would love to drive it till I die. I will not settle for a 'show and display' only. I just got to have fun with that. As they say..
"A ship is always safe in the harbor but it's meant for the open seas"
I would, of course love to have lightweight windows, body panels and no sunroof. I'll install them on my 993 in a heart beat I'm into weight reduction on my NA

Bryan take the pics and then resize them to 600X800. then
under post reply there should be a attach file Browse button.

But I do know I can hardly wait to see your pics. I cant beleive
your son shanghai'd your camera.
Carrera Mike you might want to talk to Viper Bob he has
Carbon fiber hoods I dont know how much but I remember they
did not seem expensive.

The multiple picture attachment though can be done with the "Upload Photo" link located on the right top of the rennlist window. You should open another rennlist window for the posting. If you look at the top right of your rennlist window right now, you should see it.
Click that and start follow the directions. Once a picture is taken, you will see a link right at the bottom of the photo, copy that. On your post window, you will see a "IMG" button right above it, click that and paste the link you copied form the upload photo window. Note, when you click the "IMG" button it will show a 'http' in it, make sure you don't double them.
Ask me anytime if you have more questions.

Hi Carrera Mike. I'm having difficulty with my registration and thus uploading the photos. Jenifer is helping me with this. If you wish, send me a PM with your email and I can send the pics thru yahoo.
