Post If you ever wondered about Targa roof strength...

Here is an interesting photo off of wreckedexotics.com. Don't know if it means anything other than that it is strong enough to hold up the rear end of a Taxi!

Hmmm.

Ya think those are PSS-9 or H&R springs?..

It looks lower than M030 for sure.

I don't see any skid marks...maybe just a more attentive driver?

[quote]What's up with the driver side rear fender? Paint looks odd, but doesn't look like part of the accident damage.

I think it is just in the photo...front left wheel looks a funny color, too.

This article was published in our local papers couple of months back. The accident took place in the streets of Hong Kong.

This is real, not photoshop.

The accident happened ~2 weeks ago at night in Hong Kong. Both of the drivers were not drunk if you wonder. For some peculiar reason, the porsche driver just couldnt stop.

I was in Hong Kong on 4-6 JUN and saw this photo in the local newspaper. Speed limits are very low in HK so I expect the 911 was going pretty fast. According to the article I read, no one was hurt. I think I saved the article and will look for it to see if there is anything of interest.

Regards,
George

George - I'd love to hear the explanation...looks from here like complete driver error...

993C4 - I don't know if those are really big reds or just a weird photo coloration. The rim looks red, too....

Is that a wire/rope or antenna coming up out of the back of the taxi?

Kai's facts on the story are great, but my initial reaction, based on when I used to live in HKG was that taxi-drivers can do anything with a car, including flying.....
