My question is what does the P01 Comfort package include? I have '96 C-2 and received a PCSS Report from a Porsche Dealer Service Department, it lists the "M numbers for the options and they do match the sticker as well as the car. Option P01 is listed as a "Comfort Package". In the 1996 Price list P01 is a no charge item "radio with cassette, (Becker CR210") which i have.
My car has the on board computer (659), 433mhz immobilizer (530), these aren't listed anywhere on the list or stickers. Also listed is: P15 Power Seat Package, TT1 Tiptronic, 398 - 455 17 Cup wheels and caps, 490 HiFi sound, 692 Remote CD Changer, and 962 Supple Leather Front and Rear.
Thanks

According to the last poster in this thread : "I recall being mystified by the "comfort package" a while back, and as I recall, it's just the standard stuff on the US 993; the power locks, power windows, sunroof, keyless entry, partial leather seats, radio, speakers, etc."

The price list doesn't list a Comfort Package, so have to assume that it was something that the US distributors may have come up with in combination with the radio/cassette. Power windows, Power door locks, sunroof, A/C, Cruise Control, and fog lamps were pretty much standard on all cars. Did the on board computer, (Miles to empty, MPG, Speed, Temperature, and trip odometer) option #659 come on most US cars? In the 993 Essential Companion the P01 is listed as a Comfort Package also, no explanation.

Steve -
If memory serves - it has been a while since studying, then ordering the C2 coupe. I can tell you the On-Board Computer (659) was optional for all but the 993tt and Tiptronic equipped models; -$200 IIRC. The USA/RoW 993tt had a long list of standard fittings. Where applicable these features were optional on lesser 993 models.
I'd use the 993tt standard features as a template when ordering the lowly NA 993 S coupe. Basically, my 2wd widebody coupe is sans only a turbo. I continue to have the original USA 1996, '97&'98 configuration/pricing documentation. I'll look through the many banker's boxes.

I have come to assume that the P01 is a shortcut code for ordering the standard items, for US cars, made up of: Power Windows, Sunroof, Tinted glass, Radio CR210, etc. In the price list it just show as N/C and included in base price. I do have the Porsche service information listing, same codes which would be shown on the stickers, the long full list of codes do not appear to be available, searched several locations, nothing. I did not know the Tiptronic cars had the on board computer as standard. That clears up that mystery.
Several others before had the same question of what P01 included. Maybe someone will add to the answers already given. Until then P01 is still unconfirmed.
Thanks for the help, Steve

I’m not very mechanically inclined so these options codes are the only thing I get to really sink my teeth into ![Big Grin](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Were these P-codes only provided on windows stickers?
Can you show a picture of your options sticker?

Here's a copy of a window sticker, showing the standard N/C items and the option list.It was found on the internet, there are reproduction window stickers being offered also which are very good. My car didn't have any stickers, yet do have the original maintenance booklet with hand written delivery information. I was able to get the PCSS print out which shows the codes that would be listed on the sticker.

So P01 isn’t even on the window sticker? Where are these P-codes located?

You can get the whole list of options here https://www.stuttcars.com/technical/...des/993-96-98/
Also you may be able to get the specific information on your car from the Rennlist forum https://rennlist.com/forums/993-foru...-your-car.html with a donation to the wounded warrior charity

P codes along with C codes are shown in different places, if you have a copy of The Essential 993 Companion there are group of tables listing the various codes. Many of them show us as option group without any explanation such as P01. The list from Stuttcars has some in the middle of the list.
Here's a copy of the Porsche Central Service shows for my car. Bottom right hand side shows the options.
