Unless you need it for the track, no tail.

Rolo, When I was shopping for mine 5 months ago. I wanted as stock as possible, but came upon mine, which is basically a 99.9% turbo look C4S. (without the badge). So I'll say go for the factory Turbo tail. If you get the turbo-S spoiler, but without the turbo S inlet/scoop, then it is not so "factory"

I prefer the no tail look. Unless you want it for the track. It adds to the time it takes to wash the car. When you have black that is an issue. Besides how much better looking a body can you find than a C4S ?

Definitely no tail! But if you're truly inclined to have one, the RS tail is IMO a much nicer looking tail, especially if you balance it with the front splitters. But in the final analysis, only YOU know what look excites you most...do that which makes you happy and ignore us.

Edward, you really like your car on a track without a tail?

I would definitely stick with no tail. I love the way the C4S's look without the tail. If you must get a tail, then don't mess around with the simple turbo or turbo S spoilers (would just make the car look like a fake turbo), but get a real tail like the supercup, RS or GT2 wing.

My vote is for the RS tail. Looks fantastic and avoids the complaint of faking a TT.

What the hell?
Buy the tail you like have it painted and put it on.
Keep your old lid, if you get tired of the tail change it back.
Best of both worlds.

Well, youve heard the opinions of others. The fact that youre thinking of it means youve entered the slippery slope. I did the same and it took me 6 months to pull the plug. Its a personal thing, kinda like pants--with or without pleats or cuffs.
If you want to laugh, my buddy with a black/beige C4S with factory turboS tail, wants to replace his with a TT tail after he saw mine.
I think its the nicest looking tail Porsche ever designed and fits the wide body and curves like a Dali clock on a mural. Nobody would confuse it with a boy racer, that's nonsense. The first 911 I ever saw with a tail, I couldnt get out of my head. Here's some more angles.

I made the change to the Turbo S tail and love it, that being said I also love the clean lines of the car without the tail. What is one to do when the car looks great no matter what you do.
