Default Front Lift Points

I have a 1995C2 that I need to lift with my hydraulic scissor lift. The rear lift points are clearly defined but not on the fronts. Could someone please point them out to me. Do I need to remove a panel?

I also use these aluminum lift pucks on all 4 corners with my lift. Fit the factory lift points nicely. No affiliation.

No panel to remove. Look for the sheet metal buttress with a round cutout. Delicate structure be gentle.

Yep... in my 993’s previous life, some shop lifted it improperly and bent the front driver-side jack point inward...

I think I saw somewhere on this subforum that you can buy/install reinforced jack points

Highly recommend these also. They lock into place securely, I use with my Quickjack. Lots of 993s have damaged lift points from improper jack use.

I suggest using the lifting pucks as well. They ensure you are on the correct lift points and provides some space between the body and your jack points. I bought a set from a Rennlister and think everyone should use them. Most importantly when you go to a tire shop it ensures the techs place their lifts in the correct locations.

here is the ones I bought. RRC
