Probably the number one suggestion is on reading the oil dipstick and how much it should show to prevent damage. When fully warm half way up is MAX! Congrats and welcome! The 993 is a classic and timeless experience. There are faster cars out there, but the 993 strikes a terrific balance of power, civility, rawness and driver-focused experience (it has an H-pattern gear box!!).
