After reading a bunch of posts on the frunk options sticker and how important it is to all of us , I started thinking about the other little stickers around the vehicle installed at the factory. I really like the “Unleaded Fuel Only” and the Porsche Drive Block System stickers. To me they seem old school and give it even more character.
I did a quick search for the fuel one and found a lot of people were removing them. I guess everyone is entitled to their opinion. So what do you guys think about them and have you removed them?
It's funny you mention these as I removed them the first week I had the car. But now that I've owned it for 17 yrs, I'm actually thinking of putting them back for originality.
All still in my car. Interestingly just one of the ones in the engine compartment seems to have melted and shriveled up a bit.
I bet it was made of a vinyl that wasn't too heat resistant as the others next to it still look fresh.
The unleaded fuel one on the dash would probably need some explaining to younger drivers these days, you know, explaining that there was a time when it was OK to pump millions of pounds of lead in the air to avoid engine knock.

Andy, this got me thinking about the others you mentioned, pics of engine compartment stickers with the exception of the emissions as it it reflective and was tough to get a good picture of.

I guess I broke this rule years ago while DIY regassing my system in a Wallmart parking lot.
I guess that makes me a qualified person, err sort of, NOT

So, I might be the only one on the forum that actually purchased and reinstalled the Drive Block stickers on my car in an effort to get it be as (visually) close to the day it rolled out of the factory ...
I'll check for any original sticker or stickers if ya like. .. They're all there, though I'd almost remove the white Frunk-hood sticker. .. Came that close in 1999.
