Did you get a piece of carpet to upholster the media box? I'm debating that and sticking it in the ashtray ( my first choice)

I'm installing one of these in my 87 3.2. Having the problem several PCCM+ 2 DIN owners are having - Car Play and tuner work but the unit always thinks the car is moving - cant access settings due to warning: For safety reasoner, some functions are only available when the vehicle is stationary.
Any experience on this thread as to what my problem may be?

Default GPS Antenna

FWIW - The GPS antenna can easily be mounted under the upper dash cover.

What did you do with the ground wire that was attached to the original chassis? The new PCCM chassis has no ground connector that I see.

Hi, does anyone know if for a 993 with Hifi option - you still need to buy this special cable? I’m seeing people saying they didn’t need the adaptor cable with series 2 classic radio, but can’t really confirm / tell. I have a new classic radio on the way and 993 1997 c2s with the hifi option and appreciate any guidance on that, thank you.

Thanks, can you tell from this pic if this one comes with the adaptor?

Any feedback on the unit and how it works for you - is it good?
