Question Blower rubber surround replacement - easy or hard?

Opened up the engine lid today and noticed a gaping hole in the rubber piece attached to the fan and the blower/heater stuff.

As a really bad mechanic, will this be easy to fix or should I just take it in and pay somebody??

Easy day. It's a 1 on a 1-10 difficulty scale. 10mm socket and you're golden.

Thanks folks. I was away from home with the car and had visions that it was somehow connected to the entire circumference of the cooling fan.
Looked at the PET and looks easy enough.

Two parts for 1995. Early and late. Try to find a part number on yours to verify

You must have a late 95 going by the look of that blower. Order the one with 993 part number instead of 964

Based on the pictures from this previous thread, I will need the 993 part for my 9/94 build.

Exactly! You have the later blower assembly.

It takes longer to read this thread than to install the part.

Probably have a 10 mm wrench stashed somewhere in the car. Just need to find it!
