Default Trying to track down a car

Not sure if I am posting in the correct place but I am new but have been a long time lurker. I recently came across a high-mileage (200k+) 1996 Carrera. I contacted the dealer and it took a couple attempts to get in touch. I found out they have been closed due to Covid and that the vehicle has been sold.

Anyone happen to know who bought it? I am in love with it and sad to see it sold, I was hoping it was still available.

Wished my car looked that good and mine has 110k less miles. You could possibly run a carfax and see where it was recently registered, that would only give you a general idea where it was. From there I dunno.

Looks like it went through a restoration, according to one selling ad. Not sure if engine rebuilt.

I didn’t see that ad. It did look super clean, especially underneath considering the mileage on it.

I assume he knows it used to be Silver? I have no idea what kloompy.com is, or if that price last year was for real, but it's definitely the same car. https://www.kloompy.com/cars/1996-porsche-911-c2_i2073

Hope for his sake it was more than just a nice looking paint job.

Ron
