When it comes to my life, I trust Jackpoint jackstands.
No affiliation, just a (alive and kicking) happy customer.

Glad I spent the extra money for Jack Stands from Griot's Garage. I used to have a less expensive set and always wondered how much of the ratcheting teeth were actually engaging.

Not impressed with harbor freight. Bought a jack, used once... six months later shot.

Harbour freight is ok for things that are rarely used. Most of their hand tools are junk in my opinion. Another example of getting what you pay for.

fact. It’s fine until it becomes a safety issue which this is.

I got a set of the 3 ton Aluminum ones, not recalled. Rarely used, now that I have a pair of Esco and Rennstand stands.
