Default Radio removal.

Hi all have looked but cannot find a how to remove your radio site. Car is 1998 carrera s radio is stock. Need code. It worked before i disconnected battery. Thanks before hand.

So youre trying to remove it?
Or you need the code?
your post is confusing.

for removal you need some ‘keys’ designed to release the internal latches. There are some youtube vids for becker radio removal.

If he doesn't have the code, he's going to need the serial number to obtain the code and that will require removing the unit from the dash. It's a standard DIN opening which requires a pair of special tools to release it. Most radio shops (and I believe even Walmart) have them.

Yes. Also check the owners manual, I have seen several where owners write the code in there.

Amazon removal tool assortment should do the trick. They probably have similar stuff at Best Buy, etc.
