Post 993 Headlight Covers

Does anyone out there know if headlight covers are available for our 993's? If so, where? I'll be doing some DEs and want to protect delicate areas...
Cheers,
Chris

Performance Products has the clear, self-adhesive "plastic" in a kit for the headlights and foglights.

I bought some plastic ones that fastened by high strength velcro. Bought them from Kelly Moss. They work fine as long as you don't leave them attached while towing your car with the rear end facing forward !

Performance Products also has a kit that is a plastic shield that has a screw down attachment that fits between the rubber gasket around you headlight. The shield is clear but can be painted. This set up can also be done with velcro. My guess is that at 29.00 it is less expensive that the Kelly Moss version.

Eric,
I have seen those and will probably get them. I rremember one guy saying the only bad thing about them is that if you take them off the metal clips are still exposed and you have to be very careful when washing your car etc because you could really slice your hand up on them.

Greg,
You are correct, the little metal tabs don't seem to be the best way to mount the covers. I have the paint drying on mine now and will probaly use velcro for the track. The tabs dont seem stable and would cut you pretty good if you forgot about them. We'll see how they hold up at Mid Ohio...

Thanks all!
I don't know how I missed them in my Performance Products Catalog.
