Question What would you do??

Happy Friday,

There is a very remote chance that I will win a 2004 996 in a raffle today. The other choice is a jaguar XK8 Cab. If I won I think I would trade for a Cayenne Turbo.....................
What would you do

Dreamin in NH...........................

Steve,

How remote? And..Cayenne Turbo. If you haven't driven one yet, don't. You'll want one if you do......

Evan, I bought a few raffle tickets from the American Cancer Society. I have bought them for years and skipped a couple of them after I bought my C4. For a couple of hundred dollars to a good cause......hell it is worth it. I drove the Cayenne S last year. The Turbo must be AWSOME!!!!!!!! It would be very at home hear in Henniker..........well.....at leat in NH
Wish me luck!!
Come up and visit!!

I'd sell the 996 (quick! before it depreciates!), then I'd put the money into a) Bob Bondurant's full racing course, b) a well sorted race car (maybe a Radical?) c)a used truck to tow it with. I'd spend the rest of the money on a few upgrades to the 993.

Well, to be honest, that's what I'd like to do. I'd really sell the 996 to pay off the taxes, the 993, the Honda and invest the rest. More responsible, but less fun.

I have seen a "Radical" up close.................Man, I was dying to drive it down the street and see how fast the authorities would notice!! I think the 996 would depreciate faster than the radical goes 0-100 mph...hiabusa ???or something like that?

Although it would be nice to have a summer 996 and a winter 996???

still dreamin...................

I'd have to sell it, trade in the 993 and get a 993TT and pay a deposit on an apartment (keeping enough for a few 'essential' 500hp mods )

Steve,

Hope to come up soon. Waiting for Jerry to post your regions DE schedule so we can hit NHIS.

BTW - What did you do to get the all illusive "Lifetime" membership. Do tell...

Has the cancer society taken delivery of the car? If they have not maybe the dealer would give you a credit towards a GT3, Cayenne, whatever strikes you.

Sell the 996 and your 993 and get a 993 TurboS - put the rest into an insurance fund for the TurboS.

Sell the 996, and I'd sell you one of these for $108,870.00, plus freight
