When I pop a normal disc in (not a burned one) I don't hear it spin up and try to read it.
i popped the top cover off and my suspicion was true. It accepts the disc but doesn't spin it.
Is there a fix for this?

Fix is to send the unit to Becker in NJ. You can call them first to see if the have any tips. Eddie is the guy to talk to or he may let you talk to a technician. Can’t believe there’s anything user serviceable that won’t make it more expensive to fix.

While the unit inevitably will be at Becker have them do the $150 Bluetooth mod that’s completely invisible.

Did this on my CR210 and junked the 6 CD changer in the trunk. OEM but added in 2002 before BT. Becker BT works perfectly. Hardest part was finding a good donor trunk liner to rob the left wing from. Now back to factory original.
