Default Help me price these wheels

Hey all I just picked up a new set of wheels and tires and need to unload these. I think they are 996 wheels...tires are new...wheels in decent shape.

what should I price these for? They are 17s btw.

thanks!

Good luck. I'm amazed how the after market for quality Porsche wheels are weak. I've tried selling 17" cup 2 wheels and no go. Talking about around $800 for a set. I would aim for that range, IMHO.

You have Porsche factory Cup iI wheels and are unable to find a buyer?

eBay is a good place to follow pricing. If they are near perfect with fresh tires on them that is unusual for eBay used wheels and could cause a price premium.
I would focus on this in the main title if you sell them on eBay.
Something like "set of 17" Porsche wheels with fresh tires excellent condition fits 993 XXX XXX XXX"

Yes. I have tried on multiple occasion. Granted they are not pristine, but they are straight and true. Not even an opportunity to negotiate the price. That has been my experience, and seeing other threads here, it seems I'm not the only one who's struggled selling such wheels.

I bought a set with tires for $400. Not many buyers for these wheels.

Cup IIs would sell at around $5-600 shipped. Anything higher would sit.

This spring when I briefly considered getting Cup 2's to replace mine, several were asking around $1000 and they were not pristine. I ended up getting mine refinished.

Cup II wheels are the Porsche 964s of OEM P-car rims; they will be loved once again.

Porscheconvert, great looking GR 993.

FYI- there is a Rennlister here who helps with excellent shipping rates. Offer that info with your wheel package, as shipping costs with wheels is a real crux.

Thank you! Good idea. I bought my new wheels from rennlister and shipping from Atlanta he said was 150. That sounded low....maybe he ate some of the shipping.

When I got 18"turbo twists for my '95, I bought the brace too. When I took off the undertray, I discovered that I had the brace installed. I'm a May '95. I was surprised.

I have 17s on now...is it a bad assumption that replacing with 17s I can just plug and play? I replaced with these. This isn’t my car...just a pic of what I was trying for.

is is

Its supply and demand. Not enough 964s out there to love all the Cup IIs available me thinks..
