Default Quickjack model choice?

Hello,
Im looking for a quick jack car lift.
For the model I choose the Quickjack BL-5000SLX Portable Car Lift? or another? 12V or 240V?
I can use also on a 993 and 997 / 991 models
Thanks.

I have a Quickjack BL-5000SLX and use it successfully with a 1986 944 and 1997 C4.
On the 944 it's a tight fit between the tires, but it will work.

I paid $1,000 at Costco, delivered. About 1 hour to setup. I've probably lifted my car 20 times. It's worked fine every time.

Yes, I like it, and I'd buy it again. I would not pay more than $1,000 though.

Great deal for 999. I paid maybe 1300 a year or two ago. For my 993 that is low I have to drive the car on thin tile prior to lifting and avoid hitting the tires. I also have the newest 5000 model

Using the Quick Jack 7000
still fits for the 993!
if you cant install permanent lift, perfect alternative.
Used it 100 of times, a little bigger and more heavy as the 5000 but also good for my Patrol Safari.
With my setup, < 10cm, i have to put the car on wooden beams doo...

I bought a Quick Jack 5000 about two months ago and was able to get the $100 discount from Pelican. So about $1250 delivered. If Costco has it for $999 I'd jump on it.
Doing your own oil change a few tomes will pay for it self in just a few years and you will know it's done right.

I have the 5000 and have used on 2 mid-80's 911's, 2 993's, 2 944's, a Cayman, and several 991's. Fit fine for all but wish it could lift twice as high..

Has anyone actually done an oil change on 993 with Quick Jack 5000slx? Can you still access the filter behind the wheel well liner when after the car is jacked up?

I could, was last year so I don’t remember if there was difficulty getting to it but I know I accessed it and removed it.

Its a compromise for sure, but it has exact the right high to work proper on the car when your lie under it.

Sorry to post on an old thread, but isn’t the 5000 quickjacks 70 inches long? I ordered the 5000SLX and it is too long to fit under the tires of the 964. Am I missing something?

It will slide under the 997, but hits the tires on the 964. Do you guys drive over it or something? Or am I a moron?
