I've seen Nakai of RWB do front bumper screens.
He takes simple screening sheets, look like Home Depot variety, uses a scissors shear to cut pieces. He spray paints with canister cans. When dry, they're glued to the inside. Pretty cheap and simple, given prices for these total conversions!
customcargrills.com has some nice patterns available both stainless and powdercoated black. I think you will need a frame to secure the grill to so either a fog duct or using an old OE fog light set where you remove the lenses will give you a way to secure the grill to a frame which you can then bolt on the bumper.
Nakai did not fabricate or use frames to hold the screening in the bumper installation I saw last year. The pieces he installed did not contain any lights. Bumper off, they were glued from behind.
Don't understand why more who have front bumpers resprayed or redone don't also eliminate license plate holes and plugs?
Use the tow hook for the plate, or be bold and brave, go plateless.
The car in the picture was at Luft 6. The mesh had framing to it. It looked to be mounted
to the exact tab that the foglight would on the inside. Well done.
That was Canepa 's GT2. at Luhftgekhult 6 saw it as well simple expanded metal grill with rubber trim surround , nice sounding ride was standing there when he hopped in and cranked her up !
