Fabspeed Supercups?
Did Fabspeed only make one 'generation/iteration' of Supercups? I bought a set from EBay that are more circular in exhaust piping than the current "U" shaped model.
According to the seller they were a early gen fabrication. It doesn't matter. I'm merely curious.
Thanks. Marcus.

IIRC, there were three generations of Fabspeed Supercups, the first being the loudest since it doesn't have any baffling. The latest model has a perforated insert that appears to travel the length of the "muffler" body and only slightly reduces sound.
Maybe Joe made changes to the bend for better fitment, although I have the first gens and mine fit perfectly.

I know there were a couple of generations of Fabspeed Supercups, but that had mostly to do with welded in inserts or not. I don't know about the shape.

I've seen the older gen Supercups a handful of times and even one set of the latest gen. At least to me yours appears to be alot stubbier in the chromed area than any Supercups I can recall. From my memory of what the factory bypass pipes look like, I think they looked more like what you have.
Do you have inserts? Also, my Supercups had a cloth wrapping around the unchromed sections.
But I could be wrong.

However I was still unclear of the product so I asked the board for a little help.

Loud !!! I like it loud though. I thought I had a leak between the cat and pipe so I loosened everything up and refitted the supercups. Don't know if it helped or not though. Those ball type clamps are less than desirable imo.
