I could not locate the thread on fchat where a member actually found import records of fabspeed as a consignee from Asian shippers. That thread was more clear.

The Soul Performance 993 Sport Cats will utilize 2 1/2" piping so they will have incredible flow.
I have not received my test set yet, but am looking forward to putting them thru the paces on my 993.

Stay tuned!
Lets not forget about us poor bastards with Turbo's, we'd like an x pipe offering to ;-), assuming the math works.

The math does not work at all unless you're willing to ditch the heat, those Turbos are a nightmare haha.

I would love to see some installed pictures, and some sound clips.

So is the early 95 cars only have 1 O2 sensor? I'm confused on the Fabspeed having 2 ports and yours only having 1 port.

I had to build my own like Tacker (see the 993 Turbo forum) --- did not like any of the solutions offered on the market, and I wanted 3" pipes post Turbo with a large cross, since maintaining back pressure is not such a problem. on these cars (like the challenge too haha). One of the primary reasons I went for the 3" cross is sound, I find any 911 with separate sides sound like two 3 cylinder cars, and I miss the mixing of the sounds at idle. At speed it does not matter as much.

On any of these systems, its best if you can hear them before purchasing, and make sure you listen at idle, through the RPM range and at different loads. A system with harmonics can be painful to drive.

:-)

Cheers,

Mike

Cheers John, I have had a set DACH cross pipe w/100 cell cats for a long time.... and after 13 years of abuse, I think it's needing replacement... What are your leadtimes for production and delivery for a '95 C2 with Bischoffs, single bung- ?

Coleman.

I had the opportunity to speak with John from Soul. Great conversation. He is a car guy and can talk the talk and knows what he is talking about. Very cool. The Soul product sounds like a winner.

If the cost was reasonable, I'd be in.

Exhaust sound and tone is so subjective. What one may think sounds great another will think it is too quiet/loud. I had unbaffled Supercups on my first 993 cab and loved it. I have Fister 3s on my current cab and want more.

If we're talking apples to apples, how about posting a couple of close-up pictures of the welding and fabrication, and let the craftsmanship of both products tell the story-

To Soul and all other vendors. Stop plastering your logo all over the place! How many times do you really need to have your logo on one piece? I cringe at even one while I try to avoid having a checker board of logos on my prized 993. This is not some ricer car. It's understandable to have some product identity but this bill board trend has to stop. I am sure I am not the only one who will avoid a product just because of that. /end rant
