I was messing around with my Autel scanner and was looking at live data. When I looked at the throttle position, I could only manage a max of 68.2%. I wondered if the data is actual percent or maybe some other value. If a percent, there must be something in need of adjustment. Looking for input here.

More info...yr, make, model?
Does the car seem to perform well?
I would imagine 70% throttle could be felt in a lack of performance.
Do you have a buddy that has an OBD2 reader to compare values, in order to validate your initial readings?

Ok I tightened throttle cable and the turnbuckle adjustment at the throttle pedal. Still the max throttle position I get is 76%. It seems like the throttle pedal needs a longer stroke, but I backed out the adjustment as far as I can go. The rod at the pedal must only have 2 threads into the turnbuckle. I read that someone filed down their throttle stop but it seems like I should be addressing the underlying problem.

There's a plastic adjuster in the center tunnel. Access is at the rear end of the metal tunnel cover under the car. That's where you want to adjust it. It's been years since I was in there but I think the adjuster nut takes a 15mm or 17mm wrench. You shouldn't need to remove the tunnel cover, just the plastic trans cover.

Does anyone know if Durametric will display throttle position in its running data options?
