What's the longest time the mechanic have had your car?
For all you people who doesn't know:
My car stops all of a sudden and wont start for minutes..

Now, I'm just curious how long time others have had their cars with the dealer or at a mechanic at the most?
I'll start with my record that keeps on ticking since it's not finished yet...
September 11'th until now February makes it:
24 WEEKS and still going..

Wow that is way too long..Time to take is some place else.
To answer your original question...24 hours (to replace the wiring harness under warranty). Other than that 1/2 to do some maintenance items.

2 days to find and correct a fried immobilizer module problem. Car would not start despite immobilizer on key fob working fine.
Others on the board suggested DME Relay...good guess....and out of consequential risk prevention....an extra DME Relay now sits in the glove box just in case.
Miraculix...I feel sorry for you.....2 days and I was biting my nails in anticipation of getting her back. I can't imagine your pain...24 weeks...yuck.

As I remember, something like 3 days to replace a failed rear crankshaft oil seal (one by the tranny). Blew at about 10K miles, fixed under warranty. Now have 80K on car, no problems with it.

For the record, Rob at S-Car-Go has had my friend's 930 since August of 2002. talk about unprofessional. I told my friend, who has since moved out of state that I'll go up there and pick it up on a flatbed and take it elsewhere if he doesnt do it himself.

8 weeks for engine out chassis realignment. About 24 hours labour involved but the OPC was woefully slow. Eventually had to threaten them with escalation with Porsche UK if they didn't complete the job and give me my car back.
