Here's an progress report on the C4 handling. Over the weekend, I had 4 new Pirelli P Zero Rosso N3's fitted. A big improvement in ride quality resulted. The car is less fidgety over small bumps, the tyres are a bit quieter and the car tramlines much less. They also have a lot more grip.

Overall the car now inspires confidence and I've been having a blast, probably helped by familiarity . However, in a few high speed corners, the car still feels floaty and unsure of itself. The next stage will be to have the dampers and alignment checked out as suggested. Someone in the trade told me that dampers should be expected to lose 50% of their damping by 30,000 miles. Don't know if he's qualified or not but it is logical that dampers will become progressively less effective.

The earlier posts make me think that non standard shocks and harder bushes could be beneficial. I need to keep the car compliant though because it is used every day and my local roads are often bumpy.

On a different note I took my Ducati 916SP3 out over the weekend - what a joy!
